I have a Dell dimension 2350 with windows XP home edition. how do I install a second HD in this system? The second HD has the same OS as the first HD. how can i wipe the OS and just use the second HD as more space?

to wipe/format the second drive , open my computer, right click the drive you want wiped and choose format.

to install it, you'll have to set the jumpers to master for your c: drive and slave for your d: drive, and you might have to enter bios/setup and have the drive detected. or if it's set to auto , it should auto detect the change.
