Install avast and ashdisp disappear

My problem is that after installation of Avast the ashdisp.exe is missing. On the system try i can't find the avast logo i can't uninstall avast and it does'nt auto update the virus database, im absolutly helpless what can i do ? As I remeber it began with two trojanas i delete it with avast and after Awast disapperad from system try. I tryed to reinstall it but it began the problem that i written in my first rows.

Try to uninstall Avast through the add/remove programs section. Run an anti-spyware program like Spybot and see if it picks up on anything. If it doesn't, then try to reinstall Avast. And if you manage to do that successfully then try to update Avast and run another scan to be safe.
Also, some added advice, quarantine the viruses or trojans first so that you can get info on them in case you need to download a certain program to completely erase them from your system. You can delete them from the chest afterward.

Avast is enthusiastically recommended by more than a few people on these forums. But, where the heck are they when there's a problem with it?
