Setup can not copy the file:msvbvm50.dll to retry press enter if you are installing from CD make sure the windows XP CD is in the CD-Rom drive

If the error occurs in the first stage of the setup (namely here), you can try pressing ESC to skip the particular file, which can be copied afterwards.

Setup errors during install of XP are often a sign there is a problem with the ram.
Suggest you run Memtedt86 from a bootable floppy or CD or USB and let it run for several full cycles. Any errors are unacceptable.

And when posting a question on the forum it can be helpful if you provide detailed system specifications.
