INSERTING images into WORD

I have been able to insert JPGs (and even GIFs) into WORD, but if I try that now, all I get is text/code. Something must have changed - what could it be ?

It happened to me before aswell.
All I did was uninstall word and reinstall...

This is the WinXP forum. Your question seems to be better suited to the Office Software Forum. Response #1 would appear to be the simple solution, if it solves the problem.
