Hello,

I have a Server with Active Directory. It exists actually one domain (lisa.de). It exists also a Workstation. There I want to install a program and I log me as a domain user, but he doesn't belong to the Administrator group, therefore I can't make the installation. When I log me as DOmain Administrator (or Local Administrator) and I want to insert this user onto this group I can't search the users who belong to the domain, I see just the local users. What I need to do ?

Best Regards

Here's how you do it.

- Open the control panel and select Administrative Tools
- Select Computer Management
- Select the + next to Local Users and Groups
- Select Groups and double click the Administrator Group
- Select Add on the bottom
- Select Location on the right and highlight the domain and click OK
- Click the Advance button and click the Find Now button
- You should now see all of the users on the domain including the domain groups

Hope this helps.
