please, how do i format the flash drive because i took the following steps yet, the system still gives the same message: 1. I click on my computer 2. I right click on the removeable disc 3. click on 'Format' But the system still insisted that i should insert disk in drive F. (And no disk was given to me at the point of purchase) Please let me know how to go about it. Thanks

"But the system still insisted that i should insert disk in drive F". Is F the letter assigned to the flash drive or an optical drive? If it is the flash drive then try right clicking My Computer> Manage> Disk Management> F:> format.

I too would make sure that F isn't a CD or DVD drive. What does it say beside F in "My Computer?" Life's more painless for the brainless.
