Anyone can give us (infinite loop caused by nv4_disp archive) sufferers any solution please?. I spent lots of money in my video card and it doesn't works for this reason.

I used to have this problem. Try updating modem and sound card drivers too. This sounds a little odd but this is how I used to fix this. 1. Uninstall the old drivers 2. Install the drivers once 3. Reboot 4. Reinstall the drivers a second time (over the first install) 5. Restart It used to work for me maybe you'll be as lucky. I formatted and reinstalled Xp and Sp1 a few nights ago and didn't have to do the double driver install. Maybe it's something fixed in Sp1. Good luck and I hope it helps, Sandman

Forgot to add after #1 restart and when the add hardware wizard runs cancel out of it and run the .exe driver install from Nvidia instead. Sandman
