increasing size of partition

hi, is it possible that i can increase the size of my partition. i had only one partition ie c drive by default. Now using xp tools i have created another partition but it is only few mb, can i increase the size of second partition,without formatting c drive. thanks

You may find it free somewhere but if the software is faulty and screws up your partition table and your partitions, you will lose everything on that drive. I've never had that problem with Partition Magic.

I understand that Acronis has a product that can be used to image a partition (like Ghost) and also cahnge partition sizes (like Partition Magic) for about $50. I haven't used it but I've read the reviews and it looks pretty promising.

I use Acronis and it's a lot less vulnerable than PM.

Use BOOTITNG. It's a boot manager with some good partition tools... used it for years with no problems. I trust it a lot mor than PARTITION TRAGIC. It costs but it does come with 30 day full trial.
