Have installed InCD and when system starts I get a message "Cannot connect to file system".
I have Nero "Version 6.0.0.28 with InCD 4
I have also visited nero site and download patch which does nothing.
Originally I did have this problem with same system but patch worked ok but suddenly InCD will not work and my DVD burner is very slow at reading any disc and I cant burn disc's because Incd will not work. Even after a clean install and nothing other than Nero installed on computer.
I have nero and incd installed on my laptop with xp home without a problem.
ANY IDEAS

in Services, check that IMAPI CD BURNING is not disabled, this worked for me, however it may not be the same for you.

Well, I stand to be corrected here, but I have Nero6 running on XP Pro, and as I remember InCD is just their detection tool that runs in the system tray; it really doesn't have anything to do with the actual burner software, I think. In fact, I always go into the RUN Keys in register and remove the INCD entry from starting up because its just a resource waster.
I think your problem is elsewhere. What happens when you click on the Quickstart Icon, which should bring up the quickstart menu which gives you the options of type of burn you want to do?
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day;
Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime;
Then industry pollutes the water and kills all the fish.

InCD is packet burning software. It allows you to format CD-RW disks and use them like giant floppies. You can right click something and copy it to CD-RW. Actually, you don't really need it. You can format (erase) and burn CD-RW
s with Nero itself, but it is a connvenient way to burn CD-RWs.

Unless your burner is "Mount Ranier (sp)" compatible INCD will not run. The earlier version will but version 4 wont.
Once I thought I was wrong, now I'm not so sure!
