in this server machine,2 scsi disks are there.8g gb scsi hdd with fc10 and 40 gb hdd with wix xp.grub boot loader.i removed linux partitions with fdisk and now when i tried to access recovery console of windows to give "fixmbr" cmd,it says do not find any hard drive and asks to reboot.when no xp cd inserted,it comes to grub prompt.then giving rootnoverify,chainloader +1,boot boots xp fine .but again on reboot again comes to grub prompt. Is tehre any possiblity of loading any drivers with active recovery console?f6 and flopy dowesnt work..any rescue cd booting and inserting drivers is this possible?wt to do?how to make recovery disk in xp?

you might want to re post this in the linux forum. I think the problem is the grub bootloader cannot be passed by from windows and you removed the linux systems and now must revert back and I think the other forum will be better suited for answering this one!
