Ok a few hours ago my monitor turned it self off, and i couldnt turn it back on again. i turned off my computer waited a few mins, still nothing. so i unplugged the monitor and plugged it back in and its fine... i turned computer back on and after about 15mins it turns off again...if i keep plugging it unto different sockets it seems to work for a bit and power down.. any help please?? the monitor is a Logix 19"... thanks

well it seems once its powered down i have to wait about 5-10mins until it powers up again... this is really frustrating... please any ideas???

Right click on your Desktop and go to properties. Under the Screen Saver Tab go to the bottom and select Advanced or Power Settings and turn off all the shut down options. Select Never for each one, hit Apply, then Ok and your problems should be gone.

Did you try another electric cable.
Could be a bad connection.

the only other power cable i have is one which links the monitor to the computer supply... would this work??
Larry, theyre all set to 'never'..
just please let me know if its safe to use the monitor to computer PSU and i will try it

Yes, you can use the same type of cable and some people plug their monitors into the computer power supply. It doesn't really power the monitor, it just passes thru the wall current.
