I am trying to import an Outlook .pst file from a folder on my network(no domain, just wrkgrp) and I run the import wizard from Outlook 2003 and it says it's importing the file, yet when it's complete, no messages appear in my Outlook. I know they are there. I am on an IMAP server. Could this be that the .pst folder i am trying to import is being shared? any help would be cool. thanks

Good morning,
Tools > Options > Mail setup
Select the Data files button and select
"Office Outlook Personal Folders file (.pst)" and click ok.Navigate to the PST on your network using the full UNC path rather than just a mapped drive, and select ok.
Click ok to the properties for that pops up, then clocse, and finally ok.
In your folder list you should have the personal folder - If this is followed correctly then the *.PST file is empty.
In addition to this you may wish to copy the PST to the local hard drive (keep a backup on the network) in some weird cases I have experiences issues with applications opening files from the network and occasionally local opening will work.
Good luck.
