Hi!

For the past two days I've had a popup window come up as soon as I turn on my computer. The box says "RTHDCPL.EXE Illegal System DLL Relocation" The narrative then says "The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occured because the DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\HHCTRL.OCX occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL."

What does this mean? Who would the DLL vendor be? Could the popup box just be a virus that my antivirus hasn't gotten yet? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

This makes 4 now (but who's counting?)

I'm not one of those who think Bill Gates is the devil. I simply suspect that if Microsoft ever met up with the devil, it wouldn't need an interpreter.

When is the big patch (code named "Vista Rules") coming that causes us all to have to upgrade to Vista?

I love Microsoft's wording on the link, XpUser....
"100 reasons why everyone's so speechless".

I've read enough on the forums.. I'm sticking with XP, lol...

Microsoft already has a fix for the relocation of the DLL error. I don't have the link its on my work computer. Just go to Microsoft.com and search around. When you find it, download the link to your computer, follow the directions, and this will fix the DLL error.
