IIS problem in XP

Hi, I just installed IIS on XP but the website seems to be stopped and if i try to start it the error = unexpected error 0x8ff2740 occured, pops up.

restarting IIS does not help.

Please help

I had the same problem. This is due (at least for me) to already having an ftp server (working or not) running on the computer. WarFTP was running incognito on my system, once I disabled it, IIS started to run.
