Hi

Installed IIS 5.1 on the XP pro client machine and wanted to use it as a webserver and ftp server but I want to assign other site operator to the ftp but was told it could not because of 5.1, only allow administrator, so how about installing a free ftp server on the machine as well so I can assign different users, any suggestion of a free one?

thanks

Can't be sure of your question.

Almost all ftp servers can allow user accounts.

If you want, consider filezilla server and start using sftp or other secure ftp access.

Could consider an older version of barracudadrive like 3.2 maybe.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
