Specs: Windows XP
Daughter accidentally deleted iexplore.exe from task manager. now I cannot access internet at all. Computer is useless. How can I get it back or is it gone forever. I assume it is not recoverable. I would like to know if I connect another computer to the damaged one, can I transfer internet explorer to it and recover it that way?

Deleting Internet Explore from the Task Manager should not cause any problems at all. It just closes it down. All you need do it to run it again.

If you are having problems with Internet Explorer it is something more than just deleting it from Task Manager.

I agree with Stuart.

Regarding your problem. Check if iexplore.exe exists in its directory - C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\ If it is not there, then you need to download IE from microsoft site from another computer (if your internet is not working), copy to your computer and install it.
