iexplore.exe is corrupted

Hello friends,

I have just loaded my computer with the program called 'whats running', which i found to be very useful.

Just realised that the process iexplore.exe is taking too much of memory. Ranging between 29000 K upto 34000 K at some instances.

This makes me think, if something dodgy is going on with my IE browser.

To add in this I sometimes get warnings saying IEXPLORE.exe is corrupted. And also while browsing my IE now suddenly freezes and comes out of ice age after some time.

Is this high memory usage indicating something?

I tried using Mozilla firefox which used to work well but now getting error message like

'the program must allow previous installation attempt to complete. Please restart'

Now I need help to get this working good as it was before.

Please help..!! Any ideas..??

Check system for ram or hard drive problems.

Reload OS. If no improvement, CD may be defective.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.
