iexplore.exe application error

Specs: Windows XP
Hi, I am using Internet Explorer 8. It is not run accurately. Whenever i want to start my internet connection with the help of internet explorer 8 one message reflect on screen and that is {The instruction at "0x054dbfb6" referenced memory at "0x00000013". The memory could not be read.} by this i could not able to surf internet. Please help me.

The memory in your PC might be faulty. That is, the physical hardware inside your computer called RAM. Errors like this often occur because of faulty memory.

You can run a program called memtest to test if the memory is OK or not.

As a work-around to the issue, you could just use a different Web browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. IE 8 is slower and less secure than these in most cases anyway.

Some other ideas: Run Windows Update, and run chkdsk.

This problem is system can not load enough buffer and datas are bigger than buffer size.
As I know it fixed with services pack1. You can try to keep updated your windows to take latest updates. Acording to me, services pack can help you.

Some add-ons may gives this error. I had a problem with yahoo once. Disabled it and everything goes smoothly. But malwares also can give the same error. Better check your computer in safe mode, just to be sure that everything is ok. I recommend to use Security Task Manager or malwarebytes.
