IE8 only supports 2 tabs?

I read somewhere, and with all the browsing I have done lately I am lucky to remember that it said that IE 8 only supports 2 tabs
in one window, then it had a registry edit.

Is this true? I have noticed that if I were to click on the top menu to open up a tab, sometimes it takes longer than other times. Is there a way to make it more quick and reliable?

The wait time could be up to 20 seconds when I am running a online game.

But more than ofter it is like 3 -5 seconds of wait time after the tab is clicked if I do not have a game running and just use it for research purposes while listening to online radio.

Not able to load more than 2 tabs is a problem for me, because when I use IE 8 for a research session I can have up to 8 tabs open at once.

Unfortunately I did not save the page and am having troubles trying to find it. I came across it in a totally unrelated search and somehow misplaced it.

Is there a known tab issue with IE8 in Windows MCE SP3?

were you able to open more tabs prior to the changes you made ?

1. Start Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
2. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Reset.
3. In the Internet Explorer Default Settings dialog box, click Reset.
4. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, click Reset.

Dump IE8 & go back to IE7, then fix your Windows Update so that you're never prompted to install IE8 again.

mk, but the IE 8 seems to have so much potential for making the browsing so much faster....

IE8 is better than IE7, but Mozzila & Safari are better than IE8...
