Comment:

I am encountering a strange scenario on this PC. I am using IE7 and am trying to login into Amazon.com.

When I do IE7 crashes, gives the MS Error Reporting window and then gives me a link to more information which tells me that RealPlayer is causing it?

I updated to the latest version of RealPlayer and it still happens.

Any ideas?

Thanks

You may want to stop Real Player from running in the background, as it may be starting with the computer startup.

DO Start, then RUN, then type
msconfig
Then on the Startup tab, uncheck mark 'Real Play',
then click OK, then you will be asked to Restart computer.

I ended up doing a few things, including updating Real and IE - problem seems to be resolved.
