Comment:

IE7 was working fine and then all of a sudden it will open blank for a second and then shut down. Good thing I have Firefox or I wouldn't be able to get on the internet. I have run spybot and scanned for virus but nothing. Don't know what to do. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still won't open. help!

Try opening it with no add-ons - from 'Programs/accessories/system tools/IE no add-ons'. If that works then reset IE by going through Control Panel/Internet Options/Advanced & click on the 'reset' button - it will reset IE to its default settings and allow you to enable add-ons as required & see which one's messing up.

What do you mean, Hijack This didn't work? What did it find and what did you delete?

Don't tell us how you fixed it. Why would we want to know that?
