How long ago did you install IE7? If it was as long ago as October 2006, you may not be able to uninstall it due to its temporary installation folder being overwritten or cleaned out. Why not just tell us what's the problem.

Just do a repair. When you try to uninstall IE7 using Control Panel/Add or Remove, doing a repair *should* be one of the options....

I'd uninstall it through Add/Remove programs and stick with 6.0

Why's that? Once you get used to IE7, there's no going back.

Better learn to tame it more gently because M$ might one day pull the plugs on all remaining IE6.

If you dont like it you should download Mozilla Firefox. Its a much better browser and far more secure.
You can download it here..

Tonight I met a person in yahoo chat who could not open sites with his internet explorer. Thus he was unable to browse and download anything. His yahoo messenger was working however. So I tried to send him the Avant browser because the install file for avant is about 1 meg. People on yahoo often have dialup and so their ability to download is sevefely limited. Consequently a small browser like Avant has its place to save people who's othe rbrowser does not work. And they can go to Microsoft and read the knowledge base to find out why their IE doesn't work. Or come here and post maybe.
