Have you updated all your third party add-ons? - Java, Adobe flash, adobe, ect.
Checked for viruses, adware/spyware?

yup!

Maybe you should re-install it, if something went wrong last time internet explorer7 Do you use a lot of tabs ? I don't think Microsoft has really figured out tabbed browsing yet, but I applaud them for trying.

Try changing these settings:
Step One:
Start Internet Explorer
Tools -> Internet Options -> select Security tab.
Click the "Custom level" button.
In the Settings box, scroll down to the "Scripting" section.
Click "Disable" under the "Active scripting" sub-category.

Step Two:
You should change the following setting in the same Settings box area.
Scroll up to the "Miscellaneous" section.
Under the Miscellaneous section, continue to scroll down to the "Navigate
sub-frames across different domains" sub-category and click "Enable".
Click the OK button.
Click the OK button again.
