My windows update is now not working. After installing Mozilla. I reset IE6 to the default browser, and tried to run windows update. The page won't load in the browser, and the error message says something like 'server can't create object'.

My security settings are not high.

Ideas?

Nice try, but this info does not apply to Internet Explorer (per the MS website) and downloading and installing the suggested program did not help at all, btw.

Need a real suggestion here, not a shot in the dark.

Well, I tried enabling all sorts of active-X controls that were disabled. I don't know why/how those options got reset as I didn't change 'em. Windows Update is now loading normally.

Problem was not VB script.
