IE6 problems

I am running IE6 under XP on thre pcs at home. One of them however is giving me problems.
When ever i open any links that require new windows, the new window opens and just sits there is dosent display the link or open it, I have to manually paste it in how can i sovle this problem?

I have already tried restoring the default options in ie6, what else could it be?
