Ok IE6 takes 2 minutes to load a page if i dont type http:// infront of it, but loads any page instantly if i do. Previously IE automatically appended this and loaded the pages fine. What i can tell you: Internet connection is Cable Im using a lynksis router with two cpus (the other cpu can surf net fine) I used adaware, spybot, and cwshredder after discovering this prob and did not help. I am using Norton Internet Security 2004 and no the firewall is not blocking IE, this was happening before i loaded it. I tried replacing the hosts file, and resetting it to default. I tried reinstalling using add remove progs after using the spyware cleaners and nothing changed. ITS STILL NOT WORKING!!!!!

Did you try clicking Restore Defaults under the Advaned tab on the Internet Options page? Have you tried updating IE to the latest service pack? "It's about the journey and not the destination" - The quote of those who never make it
