Something happened yesterday to my Internet Explorer. I can no longer click on links that will open in a new window without ie locking up. Typing in the direct URL to other pages is sketchy too. ITs about 50 50 if it locks up. Things I tired: Re starting (of course) REintsalled ie6 Ran windows update reinstall windows files ran ad aware ran spybot ran mcaffee virus scan deleted cookies deleted internet files cleared history I think thats about it, or at least all that I can remember right now. As far the rest of the computer it is working fine, no spyware or adaware lately, im running zonealarm, have virus scan, run ad aware all stuff all the time. computer is running fine, the only other thing ive noticed is that winamp3 has stop loading giving some weird errors. Anyone have any idea?!?!?! This is driving me nuts!

I've ran into this problem before. And in my case it was due to a security fault/leak in IE6. But that was a long time ago and I don't have that issue anymore since I reformat my computer every 3 months. Best bet is to download ALL the security/upgrade patches for IE6. And if that doesn't work, download Mozilla Firebird and see if that loads pages for you. If that doesn't work, then I'm completely lost as you are. =0(
