I cannot open more than one window at a time from my desktop...if I manually open IE it will open, but to click on a shortcut...it just takes over a window that's open...it won't open a new one...also I cannot click from My favorites...nothing happens! I've gone through the suggestions here..tried clicking left shift, tried right clicking, tried the spyware remover from Trend Micro..nothing has helped..suggestions?? Thank yoU!

IE6 or IE7?

Do you have Reuse windows for launching shortcuts enabled in IE6 or IE7 Options? If not, follow the procedure below. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/241911 You can also CTRL+N to force open a new IE6 or IE7 window. The new window will display the same page you created it from. i_Xp/VistaUser

Sorry to be late getting back...had surgery...i use IE7,,,and did try the 'reuse windows' option...errr don't understand how to register a referenced .dll??? This mostly happens on my desktop shortcuts...to open one, it just takes over a window that's open...it won't open a new window??
