IE won't load Javascript

Comment:
In cases like hotmail which uses javascript, it just won't load. When i click on it, nothing happens. this is the same for any site that uses javascript, but Java loads fine. Hotmail and other java sites all load perfectly fine with firefox, so what's the issue?
You may want to open Internet Explorer>Tools>Internet Options>Security tab and set the Security Level for Internet to Medium, click Apply/OK.

Yes I can see it all, its a floating red text that says If you can see this you are fully java enabled. Then answer me this:
on my router when i need to port forward, on IE i click apply. nothing happens, and i notice on bottom left it says javascript something but no effect. when on hotmail, when i want to scroll between emails or look in junk folder, it dosent load, and all it says is javascript again. every site that uses javascript to link to another link or something dosen't ever work it just sits there and nothing loads

applesause, Try the following:
1. Quit all programs that are running. 2. Click Start, and then click Run. 3. Type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK. 4. When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, click OK. If this does not resolve the problem, repeat steps 2 through 4 for each of the following files (in step 3, replace Urlmon.dll with each of the file names below): • Shdocvw.dll • Actxprxy.dll • Oleaut32.dll • Mshtml.dll • Browseui.dll • Shell32.dll . msjava.dll
Note that there is a space between regsvr32 and the file name.
It's worth a shot, Tufenuf

applesauce, Glad to see that your problem is fixed. What those instructions did was it re-registered those dll files. Sometimes a glitch may happen and re-registering the dll file(s) will correct the problem. It's nothing to worry about. Thanks for posting back.
