IE will not connect but Mozilla doe

CPU/Ram: PentiumIII +512mb ram

My kids got the machine infected, I removed the virus but now IE Explorer will not connect to the internet displays "the page can not display error" but Mozilla brower and IM works fine.

So upgrade to Firefox. Run CWshredder to try a fix on IE.

Have you looked at IE\Options - Connections Tab - is your Connection still Listed there?
