I have a freeware app called the Bel-Arc Advisor ,which list all of the software and hardweare installed on your PC and other specs ! It also list all of the Windows Updates installed and verifiies that they are a good install not a corrupted one ! Since I updated to I.E. ver 8.0 from 7.0 I have two security updates that have a red X next to them in Bel-Arc Advisor ( freeware app via PC Magazine) one of them is listed under I.E. ver 8.0 KB969897 ,however its still listed with a red X under I.E. ver7.0 ? The other update KB963027 I.E.7.0, does not have a listing for I.E. ver 8.0 nor is it listed in my ADD/REMOVE Programs in the control panel or in CCleaner uninstall feature ? Its just a pain in my side having the patch with a red X listed next to it and no way to remove it from being listed . Can anyone give me any suggestion on how to remove KB963027 for I.E. ver7.0 ? Or some way of uninstalling it from my system eiother thru the refistry or Windows Explorer ,since I do not know where the updates are being listed in Windows Explorer this info would be greatly appreciated !
Thanks to All ,
Nick
