My start page changes each time I log in after setting to msn.com or anything else. Spybot and adaware do not fix this. It is not in msconfig/startup either.

Search your registry for the name of the start page you get - it will lead to a place where you can modify the name of the start page. Change it to something else. Reboot your system and see if it goes to the page you specified. If it goes back to MSN and when you get the registry it is also changed back to MSN then something is running on your computer that is making the changes. Unselect everything in start up in msconfig, go back to the registry and change that setting to the one your want. Reboot your computer - it you get the page you wanted then there is something in msconfig/startup that is causing it.

I have the same problem only it appears that something is telling IE to change to my default page every second time i start IE. How do I change my default page in IE and what could tell IE to do this without my telling it to?

I ended up deleting a file called iefeatsl using the add/delete programs in Control panel. It seems to have worked so far. 3 reboots and two hours later still working.
