When I click Tools, Internet Options, Advanced and change some of the options in the settings box they hold for the duration of the session but when i reload IE they are back to what they were. Is there a work around for this?

Cheers

After you change the settings you should click Apply, the click OK. Some settings require a reboot after you do the above.

Is the machine being used by another user? If so the setting are probably changing as a consequence, or the machine isn't being shut down properly hence the settings arn't saving.

Do you have something like norton internet security or mcafee security center? Programs like these can override your windows internet security settings assuming thats what your changing.
