My IE has stopped working. There is no address bar. Even if I search something in google tool bar, nothing comes up. None of the menu buttons work. Also, my Symantec antivirus has got disabled automatically. If I try to open it a blank box opens up. I used Ad-aware which cleaned some files, but still nothing works. Looks like my PC has been attacked by virus. Please help.
After the 'repair', visit MS Updates and install the critical updates.

I tried to run full anti virus scan in safe mode as well as in normal mode, but it says "Windows Installer could not be accessed" in both the cases. Looks like virus has corrupted win-xp files. I may have to re-install the OS, if there is no other option available.
