I got some sort of virus that went across my home wireless network. For some reason, it duplicated files for SmitFraudFix and caused my internet explorer to work weirdly. On one computer (the one with the most problems) it connects to the webpage (as far as I can tell by the address bar) but still shows the "Cannot display webpage" message.

I've run the SmitFraudFix and it didn't fix anything. McAfee found some PUPs associated with the duplicated files which I was able to delete, but it's still not connecting properly.

Also, HijackThis, Registry Mechanic, Spyware Doctor and Trojan Guarder didn't yield anything out of the ordinary.

Does anyone have any clue what's going on?

I am assuming you have hidden system files please forgive if not the case.
Have you had a look in your hosts file
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
This is hidden by default. You can copy and paste the command below to unhide.
attrib -r -h -s %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS

You can view the hosts file with notepad (sorry if already know all this)
This will then hide hosts file when you have finished

attrib +r +h +s %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS
Unless you have added to the hosts file it will be basically:-
# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

127.0.0.1 localhost

Also look for BHO's in IE
