I am having windows XP with Service pack 2. Whenever i start my windows XP, The Image name IEXPLORER.exe (4 Nos) is automaticaly loading in the memory. But i have not opened the Internet Explorer. The memory usage of the loaded IEXPLORER is also more than 15000 K. Hence the speed of my system reduced. I tried to End Process of the four IEXPLORER.exe in the task Manager. The process is ending... But it is automatically loading after a short period... Please tell me a suggession....

Thank you BUDDY

let it start and then run your anti-virus programs to fix the virus that you have.

Or you can go to

and run their free scanner to clean your system!

Haven't had this problem personally... but SP2 has been known to cause assorted problems for many people (but not all)...

Still a search in google brought these possible solutions; the posters there seemed to have a problem similar to yours?

Hi Callum:

You appear to be confirming some of the info in the two links I posted; which pointed to possible/probable virus issues...

Thanks for the input/confirmation - useful to know about in the future...
