Hi
We have a Lenovo thinkpad which I have changed the local default profile, actually did it on another machine and using it on this laptop, I have use it on HP and other machines without any problems, but everytime I login to a different users the home page is always showing www.lenovo.live.com and lenovo.com/uk/en home page instead of my profile, I have joined it to our domain.
Lenovo told me to remove the thinkpad access connect software, but it's not even installed, any bright ideas, maybe some registry change as they told me to reinstall windows again which I don't want to do.
Also the quick lauch bar icons are all wrong, I have to login twice before I get the correct ones.
Thanks
kiwi_hk, I'm not familiar with your thinkpad, but your homepage in Windows is set in IE. Maybe?

DOn't understand, what you mean by windows is set to IE?
The IE home page defaults to lenovo.live.com website whenever a new users login rather than my customised default profile

Once you've done that click apply then ok. You can also start Internet Options from within IE. Click on Tools then down to Internet Options.
Also is there any security software on the Lenovo that prevents the homepage from being changed?Computers... designed to entertain, help with work but most of all to frustrate you!

I know I can do that, but my default profile should change the set my home page if a new user login but it doesn't, it's goes back to live.lenovo.com page and I have to set it again.
