I cannot run my Ie anymore unless i run it by opening a seperate file like a help file. I yave tried the shortcut and reinstalling but it wont run. If anyone know a way to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

What version of Internet Explorer are you using? Go into IE, into the Help menu and click on "About Internet Explorer..."

BTW, I want to ammend the above post I made. Of course it is going to be Internet Explorer 6.0 but I want to know what hotfixes have been applied. When you go into Help --> About, you will see a line that will mention "Update Versions". That is the information I need. Additionally, you could try going into Add/Remove Programs and see if IE6 is mentioned in there. If so, select it and select remove. On the next window, you should get an option to repair IE. Try this.
