Hi
Whenever i open my internet explorer an error message appears "Internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience". I have IE 6 and downloaded/installed it again to see if it would have any affect but nothing changed so I'm using my netscape right now to see if i can fix the problem in some way but nothing yet. I really need help with this.

Try using system restore to restore to a point before the problems surfaced

Since the issue is with IE try to correct the problem by editing the registry and reinstalling Internet Explorer 6.

[Start]>>[Run]>>[Regedit]
Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\{89820200-ECBD-11cf-8B85-00AA005B4383}
On the right window doubleclick IsInstalled
Change the Value Data:(from 1 to 0],hit ok and exit the registry
The next thing you wanna do is download via netscape and install Internet Explorer 6.This will include Outlook Express 6. Reboot and see if it works.GoodLuck
