IE eats all CPU time!

im having a problem with internet explorer. when i first start it, its all good, except in the task manager, IE is using all the CPU that isnt being used by everything else. it browses pages fine. when i try to close it, IE freezes, and i have to end the task. can someone tell me A) how to stop it from using so much cpu time, and B) how to keep it from freezing?

btw, ive run NAV, adaware, spybot, etc. they all found nothing.

Try to search google.com for the answer, theres probably other people with your problem, anyways how much ram do you have?,did you get the service pack 2 yet cause it has a built in pop up blocker which helps,when alot of pop ups come up it takes up alot of ram.
Run hijackthis to see what your computer has running and remove all the unused programs and services with hijackthis.
