Hi Guys,Pls help with my contant IE error message as follows: The page could not be displayed. Pls i have used all sort of adawares and other system utiliuties (Registered)with no error found, yet i cannot logon to the Internet due to this error message. I am using cable modem,and i can see in it control panel that i have internet connection, it's only the IE that could not permit browsing. Help desperately needed, PST

Is your Cable Internet connection to this PC via a Router or straight from Cable modem to the PC? Do you have another Browser like FireFox or Netscape that can connect and the problem is only with Internet Explorer 6 Sp1? M

If you are using a Cable Modem, please check the IP Address, using IPCONFIG and post it... It could be that you are getting an Invalid 169 IP address...
