Hi,
I just reinstalled my system and now I'm experiencing a wierd problem. When I change the home page address in IE it always resets it to this other site every time I restart my comp. Also, I keep on changing my setting in Outlook [like the pop3 server address] and when restart it goes back to what was there before. There might be other settings that don't get saved that I'm not aware about, so it kind of worries me. Can anybody help me?

Only a guess. It might be that you have somehow made a mandatory profile. Check the file I think ntuser.man instead of ntuser.dat. It might be other things too.

MY question would be which site does it reset to? You may have had your browser hijacked. The Outlook setting could be related to this too. Wesites and viruses can cause home page hijacking....:)
Awaiting reply...:o)

Try this for a shot at deleting the worm. Download STINGER from the Mcafee website:-
vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/
It is a standalone program, and detects the so called favourites of the virus/trojan world. It may well be able to kill your worm..:o)
If not, there are other methods, but much more indepth.. so try STINGER first.
