IE 8 Won't Open

Just up-graded to IE 8 from IE 7. Now IE won't open. Error report comes up about IE has encountered a problem and must close. If I right click IE short cut and choose option "Start without Addons" IE opens. How can I fix this?

Once IE8 is uninstalled will Windows revert back to IE 7? Or will I have to download new IE 7?

all depends if you already had the IE7 upgrade installed. If not,
you'll just have to re-install it, it is much faster than IE8.
