Hi, I know a little about computers, but not enough. Mine has 2.00 GB of memory.I have dial up. I just installed IE 7 after having IE6. Now it takes twice as long to load a page and also twice as long to go back when I hit the back arrow. What can I do to remedy this problem. I should have stayed with IE6 since I don't use extra features. I tried to find where I could go back and install IE6, but all I could find was IE6 with some letters after it for computers that are not Windows XP. Why is IE7 slower and can I delete anything on it to make my computer go back to where it was before? betsy

Run system restore & revert your system state prior to IE7.

This is the correct way to uninstall IE7 (Beware: If you have recently used CCleaner and it nuked your Temporary File Folder or temp directory ... STOP and try sabertooth suggestion instead):
1. Get soda or coffee to pass time after performing step 6 :-) 2. Go to Control Panel 3. Click Add or Remove Programs 4. Click Show Updates checkbox 5. Click IE7. 6. Click the Change/Remove button 7. Watch Windows dumping IE7 files by files and reinstalling IE6.

BTW if you didn't know it, step 6 is a long process. Windows goes to work replumbing the kernel.
