Comment:

A couple of days ago, I made an 2 IE windows 1/2 size so I could see both at the same time.

Ever since, whenever I open a new window, it opens only 1/2 size.

Anyone know if there's something I can do to make a new window open in the normal view mode again?

I assume you have tried maximizing the window and then closing it?

If you are opening IE from a shortcut, right click on the shortcut and choose properties, from there use the drop down box beside "RUN" and choose "Maximized".

That sure sounded like it would work, Musky, but, unfortunately, it didn't.

If it makes any difference, the first window I open is fine. It's any windows I open by clicking on a link in the first window that open 1/2 size.

Gwen, The detailed instructions at the link below should help you correct the problem.

How do I have an Internet Explorer 7 (IE 7) window open in the maximized position every time?

Looks to me like the link that Fragile posted has the answer, in the second or third posts. Give it a try and let us know.

Although Fragile's link didn't work for me yesterday, today, all windows are opening in normal view mode.

I know I rebooted yesterday, so I'm not sure why it didn't take effect until today, but everything seems fine, now.

Thanks, everyone, for your suggestions.
