Ok, I seem to be having a problem with Norton Anti Virus 2002 and Internet Explorer 6.0. I try to enable Auto-Protect in NAV and I get the following Internet Explorer script error:
I tried using support on the Symantec site, but nothing helped.
So how do I go about fixing this script error? I can't enable auto protect or install new virus definitions because of this error. Thank you very much for any help anyone can give me!

I tried to install a cracked NAV 2003 and ran into the same problem. I tried to revert back to NAV 2002 and got the same problem. Delete all the norton stuff in safe mode and reinstall.
The only solution that worked for me.

You say you tried support on the Symantec site but nothing helped. You did not say what you tried that did not work. Did you try the e-mail tech support option and not get satisfactory help?
It sounds to me like you have a corrupted file, not necessarily a virus, and may need to reinstall NAV. Before you do, go to the Symantec site and use their online uninstaller to be sure that you completely remove the current copy.
