IE 6 Popup window closes automatically

Hey guys, please help me out. I have a friend who's encountered this problem with IE.. whenever he clicks on a link that opens in a new window.. the window will open but close almost immediately. He says something about going to www.madblast.com and this popup window appears with two options "close this popup" or "close all popups" or something of that ilk. Advice anyone? He's on Windows XP and is using IE 6.

Are you using a popup stopper program? If so disable it. You will then have to search through the popup stopper to find the program you prevented from opening that you want and use.
