IE 6 no longer using connection

Ok, I had a problem with an adware program (sysu.exe) and after removing it, IE 6.0 no longer works. It gives me the "Cannot Find Server" error page. BUT everything else still works just fine, (MSN Messenger, etc) and the connection, which is shared is accessible and working on the other networked computers. It doesn't even seem to try to access the net before it gives the error.
