IE 6 Downloads

I was downloading a file in IE 6 and accidently told it not to allow me to choose what I want to do with a file. Now it automatically downloads all files to my temp directory and doesn't allow me to choose save...

Try this>> In Control Panel/Folder Options/File Types Tab:
At the very bottom of the list should be ZIP file. Click the advanced and place a check mark back on "Confirm Open After Download" This fixed the problem.

I want it to ask me what to do, Open, Save, etc...

Not sure if this is it - but look at - IE Properties - Advanced 'Notify when Downloads Complete ' - see if you still have a Check in there

That isn't it, that only closes the Download window after a Download is Completly...
When you click on a file, a Window comes up asking what you want to do, Open the File, Save the File, More Info and 1 more I can't rememebr at this time... That Window asking me what I want to do isn't coming up. I wan't to tell it to SAVE so I can choose the Save Directory, instead of it OPENING which Saves it to a TEMP directory and Opens it afterwards...
