IE 6 - 2 windows = CRASH

IE 6 runs fine if only 1 window is open, but if a pop-up window opens or i try to open another IE window, IE will freeze like clockwork.

I cant say this is the problem but you dont have much memory for running xp it could be it is running out of memory

Yes, Memory is the Problem. Also try the SP 1 for IE 6. To fix the Memory Problem, It will help a little/alot anyway. Start/Run/MSCONFIG and Startup Tab. Clean that out from any UN-NEEDED Apps.

thanks, i wil be getting more memory soon, however netscape 7 runs fine even if I have several other programs running (smartFTP, Kazaa, nero 5 etc)
